found out a few niggling problems that iu am going to try to sort out this weekend! they include ;

1. i think it may need a new auxillary air valve?
2. needs a new manifold gasket,
3. 4 injector seals as they are all really goosed, 2 of them are really leaking air really badly!
4. new set of leads, they are arcing and possible causing of slight missfire!
5. cooling system really needs a flush and need a new filler cap for the header tank, it leaks the existing one!
6. the turbo is only running at .2 of a bar which is far too low, i think this is due to the wastegate being closed completely??? this is what i was told by ythe guy i got the car off, the tuner bloke didnt get chance to look!!!!!
7. could do with the oil change+filter (i have these already!)

just wondering, if i ring fords up tommorrow, are they likely to have all these parts in so i can do the work this weekend?????

the work thats been done so far, im happy with, the bloke had to chasnge alkl the multi plugs as they were alll basically hanging off, which i knew already, sorted the timing out and now it runs respecatbly but neds the air leaks sorting out really! and the leads before i can go any further!!!!!

 

sounds like u got your work cut out !! ford should have all the parts in or be able to get them in

i hope they do, it is bank holiday though!

 

oh aye forgot bout that, if there open sure 90% of the parts will be in stock!! if the parts man has a clue !
