I have a Mk 3 Escort Cabrio with a 1.6 and a VV Carb. I was looking at some options along the lines of a non Ford CFI style conversion. Does anyone have some dimensions for the base gasket between the carb and the intake manifold? Looking at bolt spacing and Hole size in the manifold for the single barrel. Could do the Weber swap but before I go that way I was thinking a single point injector would work better. Thanks.

Are you saying that the 1.6 CVH for that year came with different kinds of VV carbs? From the Haynes manual it just looked like one was available. Would the flange on the carb change between versions? Thanks.
