I need a fusebox for my 97 escort. Seen a few on eBay but some say Mk5 Mk6 Mk7 ect. Was wondering are they all the same only difference is the location on where you put the relays and fuses to the spec of your vehicle.

No they are slightly different and there were different revisions. Although some can be adapted - its far less hassle to try and get the same code that you already have where possible. The lower the spec of your car, the more flexible you can be however.
