Some areas around the country have brought in this type of scheme but Londons so called mayor Saqik Khan is on a crusade to destroy so many modern classics with this increase in zone boundary, Many think it wont effect them but many have not looked into the knock on effect from this, Event Venues like the Ace Cafe & Alexandra Palace which at moment host all types of events will lose many clubs and car brands as they dont fall into classic or exemption from this charge, Car clubs meets and events will be forced to relocate outside the zones and workers who cross into ulez area's and delivery companys in HGVs will all be hit, heres a few examples of cars it will effect Many cosworths and older fords/ Older Skylines/Somes Hondas / Scoobys and even Mini's up to 86-2000 which are Londons iconic car you name it, and even if you only drive it in your own area you still have to pay, Khan states it's for green reasons he is doing this but everyone knows it's all about his own ego and leaving a legacy in his name once he is finally ousted from office, He is Chauffeur driven around in a V8 Range Rover with a cigar on the go no doubt, This now on top of the recent government announcement that electric cars will have to pay road tax from 2025 and those that switched feel cheated as with electricity pricing its almost same cost now to charge your car as fill it with unleaded so why switch other than to please Greta bleedin Thunberg and her hug a tree loons, government encouraged us to buy diesels back in the day and those that did this have been shafted just the same.

Like ive always thought and said its got nothing to do with planet etc... These people maken rules it doesnt effect them at all in life and problem is most people just put up with it like the road tax con.. how come say eg some range rovers are like Ł325 a year but one the same but reg 1 month later is Ł650.00 a year.. got nothing to do with co2 or out its all about money... as the zones around uk u can take and car into most of them aslong as you pay you no.. just a pants down scam by them it will kill the shows tho and meets

yeah toll roads aswell as road tax its all for the planet tho... up here were i am there is a charge going to come in from jan for crossing newcastle bridge its a icon of the north east... but i think it wont be long till most city places you carnt go in unless its a diesel bus like... or electric were power stations are burning tons nd tons of bio mass but its ok as its zero carbon 🤔

only 2 affected areas were heathrow and centre of london
if he wants to protect the public from the emissions why does it let you in if you pay

 

like most things there do it doesnt effect them flying around world in jet only 3 people on etc but its people like me going to local asda etc its us to blame lol... but if you have the kind the money there do etc none of it will effect u as u just pay it etc

If thats covering Heathrow airport as well that is going to screw so many people who won't know when they land and pick up a hire car.

Some other towns have already introduced this style of taxation but many have stated they are watching to see how Khan gets on with this Ulez expansion as they are also rubbing their hands together at prospect of charging vehicle owners in many other new areas around the UK, The sad thing is Khan in not done with Ulez he is also looking at bringing in toll paying roads too

 

The likes of transport companies, couriers, hauliers etc need to massively fight back. They should refuse to operate in these areas, although that too would be detrimental to their business.

Either that or just massively increase charges for any deliveries within the zones...which they will probably need to do anyway.

All business should also refuse to offer any goods or services to Khan and his cronies at all.

 

southampton were going to introduce a ulez and include the shipping,until all the shipping companies said they would go to felixstowe
same with portsmouth,introduce the lez but conveniently miss the shipping

 

Edinburgh got one too. They really hate cars up here.

 

Problem is people don't stick together and stand up for themselves, they are normally too busy working to pay the bills to have time to do stuff like this.

They just spend all day long working on new ways to tax the hell out of anyone who is hard working.
