Default No start focus

After a series of failing to start when hot the car will not start atall I have replaced the pump crank sensor coil maf but still no start . I have found that their is no live at the injectors i have read that they are activated on the negative side so if I run a live feed to them will it damage the ecu so that I need to disconnect the feed to the ecu will this work. I have seen a video on utube that states that a broken coolent temp sensor can cause this symptom but I can't find it anybody know where it is located on my 2001 mk1 1.8 focus its not on the temp housing ihave looked under the alternator and their is one but it seems to low down on the block(where their is no water).
