Need some advice to sell my Escort Rs Turbo..
I have a 1989 Escort Rs Turbo … the things immaculate wings, sills etc all look original no signs of any welding on the car at all other than a small part on the obligatory battery tray that’s just been sorted.. It was given a fresh coat of painted back in 2008 and has been dry stored for the past 14 years with only 50,000 miles on the clock.
I manage to source a very rare original American 1.9 tall block thats just been rebuilt and fitted by the engine builders last week with a stage 3 head stage 3 turbo and all brand new parts.
The trim by todays standard being 32 years old would be classed as excellent it’s not perfect but excellent for 32 years old.
Original wheels are excellent.
And I have accumulated over many years Thousands of pounds in brand new parts most of which I even forgot about .. fully Polly bush kit radiators intercoolers etc etc
Now the projects 95% of the way through.. but as I know and probably everyone else does.. the devils in the details and the last 5% is normally the most valuable and a labour of love that I most defiantly don’t have the time to do.
This being said the only logical thing I can think of is to put it up for sale for someone else to spend the time to lovingly restoring the last part of the build..
Question I have is.. do I just put it up for sale as a good condition Rs turbo or do I list allllll of the things I have with the all the receipts etc as I have mentioned above??
Also what would you say it’s worth in it’s current 95% finished condition given the details above?
Any help would be much appreciated..
