ESCORT RS TURBO SERIES 2

4 OWNER CAR, 67000 MILES, ORIGINAL SPECIFICATION, NO MODS, FULLY DOCUMENTED HISTORY INCLUDING BILL OF SALE, RECEIPTS FOR PARTS BROUGHT OVER THE 25YEARS AND PREVIOUS MOTS FROM 1991 AND TAX DISCS FROM ITS VERY FIRST ONE IN 88 .

CAR HAS STAMPED BLOCKED WITH CORRECT NUMBERS AND IS HPI CLEAR. CAR IS CURRENTLY STRIPPED AND REQUIRES A RESTORATION AND REBUILD (PHOTOS AFTER THE FIRST ARE HOW IT IS NOW) ROLLING SHELL, ALL OLD PARTS PRESENT WITH THE EXCPTION OF THE ORIGINAL ROTTON EXHAUST WHICH WAS BEYOND SAVING AND THE TURBO

PREVIOUS REPAIRS INC; CHASSIS RAIL AT REAR, SILL ON N/S AND BATTERY TRAY ALTHOUGH THE BATTERY TRAY IS NOT TOO GOOD AND WOULD SAY ITS NEED ADDRESSING.

WELDING REQUIREMENTS; SILLS BOTH INNER AND OUTER, BOTH INNER AND OUTER REAR ARCHES, INNER FRONT ARCHES, FRONT PANEL, BATTERY TRAY (PREVIOUS JOB WAS RUSHED AND NOT VERY WELL DONE) SOME FLOOR REPAIRS, THERE IS A GOOD BONNET SUPPLIED TO REPLACE THE ROTTON EXISTING...I WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU VIEW THE CAR PRIOR TO BIDDING IF YOUR UNSURE OF THE WORK NEEDED.

ENGINE REQUIREMENTS; ENGINE IS SAT ON A STAND AND WILL REQUIRE A FRESHEN UP. I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF STRIPPING IT DOWN TO GIVE IT A GASKET REBUILD AND IT SITS WITH THE HEAD OFF, ITLL REQUIRE A NEW TURBO AS THE OLD 1 IS MISSING, NEW HOSES AS THE OLD ONES ARE PERISHED AND REST OF THE ENGINE BAY REASSEMBLING AFTER REPAIRS AND PAINT.

INTERIOR; ORIGINAL 88SPEC INTERIOR JUST REQUIRES A CLEAN, ITS DRIED STORED INSIDE MY HOUSE. ITS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH JUST A SMALL AMOUNT OF WEAR ON THE DRIVERS BOLSTER.
