Focus high reving
Hi
I have a mk1 2001 focus that is reving high when i plug in the idle control valve in and drops to just below tick over speed when i unplug it. Have changed inlet breather pipe ,new idle control valve and changed coil pack ,cleaned throttle body also taken out pcv and cleaned it (no gunk in it only discoloured ) Have a fault code on dash but thats only for the idle control valve to stop the engine over reving other than that it drives like it should
any help would be appreciated
