Default Simply Ford at Beaulieu today.

Went to Simply Ford at Beaulieu today and I thought it was pretty good. Good selection of cars from a Completely original Ford Popular that was owned by the same family from new for 63years!!! to new Mustangs, Mk1, mk2, Escorts, Mk1,2 ,3 and 5 Cortinas, Corsairs, Capri mk1,2, Ford Zephyrs and Zodiacs and couple of 3doors and 5 or 6 Sapphire Cosworths plus of course Fiesta and Focus ST and RS models There was over 430 cars so a pretty good turnout. Weather was good and getting in was easier than at a "normal" Simply Ford. Had loads of interest in my Saff and as usual people asking me if I wanted to sell it!! Most people seemed to be keeping a safe distance from each other as well. Glad I went and it was nice to get out to a show again.

I saw some nice old fords driving around Dorset on my travels this weekend. Wish I was off work so I could have taken mine out.

Where is the breakfast meet? Keep hearing about it, thought it was Farnborough way? And another similar (same?) venue that is something to do with ex RS500 racer Jerry Mahney? Maybe I've got the wrong ends of several sticks?! Lol

Steve, No matter what car shows we go to at the moment they will all have covid restrictions. Nothing is normal this year! I thought the show at Beaulieu was ok as there was a good mix of old and new Fords, easier to get in than a normal Simply Ford as well. I only live 10min away so it was really perfect for me.

totally understand your position as I would prob have done the same where as the surrey meet was over a hour nearer to me plus entire ford scene for me is lack lustre at moment so fancied a diverse all cars meet , but may return one day who knows
