I have a 91 Fiesta RS Turbo drove it about 7 miles, stopped and went to start it again and now it wont fire up. At first it wanted to but now...nothing.

Checked the fuel pump relay doesn't seem to be burnt out and the wiring seems to be fine , also seems to be earthed correct. I haven't tested to see if there is power to the pump. to be honest i'm unsure how to..

Is it worth changing over the fuel pump relay? if so where can i get one?!

Just to confirm is it the middle yellow relay?

Don't know which relay it is but you can bridge the 2 largest terminals in the relay socket with a bit of wire and see if the pump runs]

Put 1 of the fuel lines in a bottle and turn it over.

 

Give the fuel tank a "tap" with a rubber mallet while cranking the engine. If it fires, replace the pump.
