Default Transit connect 2.0 focus TDCI swap HELP !

I am wanting to neatly throw a 2005 (55) focus 2.0tdci engine and box into my 2009 facelift transit connect , are these the same subframes?

I have the entire focus which I bought for £100 with not bad mileage , I need to know really what I need from both vehicles or indeed just from the focus i.e diesel pump from the tank , clocks I'm guessing ???

Any info would be greatly appreciated as this is my first engine swap really , especially with a van

Thank you

Fadamo

Are you sure the electronics from the 2005 Focus will work in the Transit?
A 2009 Transit will have diagnostics on the can-bus. A 2005 Focus does not as far as I know.
You may get into trouble with PATS, Abs (if fitted) and Aircon (if fitted). You might have to use quite a lot of the wiring from the Focus.

That's just what I'm trying to work out , as I say I have the full focus at hand with all the loom etc , I also imagine with the connect being basically a focus that all the suspension hubs and and systems etc will transfer over , I'm throwing myself in at the deep end with electronics , but surely if I can get the engine to run on a frame with all the bits attached it will work in the van ? Maybe a bit too big a project for now
