act guages!! where to mount the temp part???

got me act guages or a very helpfull mr rainbird!!!!

got the super "twins" holder to fit it in!!!!

but where is best to mount the temp sensor on the car???

yeah woul;d be handy for me n all,

all i was told was that it shud remove the plastic then jam it between the hosing near the throttle body

For EFI cars, it is a bit more of a pain, but I would personally recommend drilling and tapping the inlet plenum 1/8th BSP as close to the engine ACT sensor as possible and screwing it in properly. You can then either blank off the T piece or fit a boost gauge vacuum pipe (my preferred choice).

dont even ask why but basically Ive broken my ACT gauge off of you I pulled and snapped some wires on the back of it Like I say, my fault

any chance of a repair, or best just buy a new one?

Obviously I couldn't say until it was inspected, but it is likely to be repairable, unless you shorted out the screen. You can either return by post or given to me in person on Sunday.

Paul, On mine I removed the temp sender from that plastic elbow thing (as it wasnt allowing any air through the vacume pipe) and I used a vacume T peice and heat shrunk the probe into the T. worked a treat
