There’s pretty much no rules at my work there a joke lol. I’m on call this week so can’t do anything with it I got the alternator for 230 from ford parts direct. I’ll charge my battery on Monday and hope it will drive to work like it is as I only live 2 minutes away.

I did my wife's just before Xmas.

If It still has the standard airbox then drop the radiator cradle off it's bolts let the rad pack dangle on the hoses. Unbolt the ecu and it's wiring from the airbox, separate the intake pipe and the pipe that feeds the turbo. Manhandle the airbox out the way. This is the worst bit.
Unplug wiring plug on the throttle body then unbolt the upper plenum. Think that's 6 bolts and maybe a vac pipe. 1/4" socket set will be a big help here.

After that it's pretty straight forward.
I would renew the drive belts while you are at it.

I also wouldn't t really want to do one in the floor.

If it's never been off before just taking the airbox out is as Glenn would say "A right chew on"

Not the best things to work on.

I’ll know on Monday or Tuesday lol I’ll manage it just how long it takes lol. While it’s in the air I’ll do the front shocks strut top bearings and drop links as well. And as I have to take the air box off I’ve ordered a new oil module diaphragm as well
