Mk7 Fiesta Zetec S MR155 (SQ) Sound Quality Car
Hi all
Thought I’d start a project tread for my pride and joy. Some may recognise the Paul R part of my username from ZSOC etc. I had a mk5 Fiesta zetec S and mk2 Focus st before this I love ford mostly the older stuff, I've been meaning to join this forum for years and finally got round to it.
I got the car when it was 1 year old so had it quite a while now and still not bored of it, There's always something to mod usually audio wise as im a bit of an audiophile I love old home HiFi gear so the move of doing it in the car was inevitable lol. I was competing for EMMA (European mobile multimedia association) in it for a few years at various stages and guises of build but I'm having a break from all that now and just enjoying it.
Hopefully ill be able to get to a few shows in the future and meet some of you I usually go to trax, rs combe and ford fair etc. There's some seriously cracking builds on here I don't know where to start.
For anyone that's interested and wants to look at the stages of works in more detail up to now it can be seen on Talk Audio here https://talkaudio.co.uk/mk7-fiesta-z...t-t267536.html
Cheers, ta for now

A little interior tweak ive been wanting to do for a while change the dial faces and needles to something more sporty.
So i got some custom dial faces from spinal studios these were fone differently from how they usually do them as i wanted a more glossy/satin finish to the background so they were face printed rather than their usual reverse printing.
I like the needles on the fiesta st180 so i bought some clocks to take them out of. Typically they were a slightly different fitment so a bit of careful drilling was needed.
Really happy with the end result.
St donor clocks needles removed

mine taken apart

Now much more sporty

Cheers appriciate it.
The cars recently had a change in the looks department with some Compomotive MO6 wheels that came up on ebay. I've always really liked them and the fact they were freshly refurbed in the right colour with some new Goodyear Eagle F1 5 tyres on that I've been wanting to try seemed like the ideal purchase.
I didn't like the blue anodised centre caps so I stripped them and polished them up and coated with Finish kare 1000p sealent. Also my factory wheel nuts didn't look right on them, So I got the nuts that I believe Compomotive put on them in the catalogue pictures chrome Mazda dome head ones. I also changed the lockers for something chrome and similar too. Im loving the look of them on the car and theyre so easy to clean too. not sure if im going to sell the old Speedline Turini's yet or not its like choosing between your children lol
Anyway pics of proceeding's

Sorting the caps (Stripped)

Polished, Sealed and fitted
