Hi all. Can anyone tell me if all mk6.5 facelift fiesta should have 2 speed radiator cooling fans? Reason for the question is my mk6.5 fan only cuts in just as the header tank starts to vent. The fan then cuts in at high speed for about 30 seconds and the engine cools down again. It's no problem driving around but I'm concerned it's getting so hot in traffic. I understand the fan should cut in at a lower speed when required and only ramp up if it's very hot. This does not happenon my car, should it?
It's a none air con car and I can only see one fan relay in the fuse compartment so does this mean it's single speed fan only?
I have changed the coolant temp sensor for a OEM one but is no different.
Any guidence much appreciated.
