Cooling Fan Issue On MK5 Conversion

Default Cooling Fan Issue On MK5 Conversion

Any Idea's What The Crack Is With The Cooling Fan Set Up On Mk5 CVH Turbo Conversions ?

Some Butcher Has Cable Tied The Original Fan To The Other Side Of The Rad

Any Ideas ? ?

what side? As an RST is opposite side to other CVH;s

Cable tied to the rad is fine, but the cable ties may go britle after a while.

The fan should be on the bumper side of the rad, blowing through to the exhaust side.

I think std rst fans hook onto the top of the rad and are bolted in place at the bottom. atleast on series 1's they are.

Mine was on the front of the rad!! as there wasn't room to use the original fan in it's normal position!!

if it can be put on the turbo side of the fan, that is better.
