well you only need to run only 4 pick ups so there is no need for the efi wheel you may want to use the original crank sensor and just machine the pick ups into the wheel take it to a machine shop and have pegs put in it.
i think it is more work converting an efi wheel tbh.
Or just mount the cranks sensor on the oil pump and weld the pick ups on the altenator pully

actually thinking about it

i was looking at my alternator pulley wheel the other day, and noticed it had thread pegs welded to it, 4 of them... that are kinda stuck out of the edge of the pulley wheel...

does that mean the crank sensor on my car, is not even on the flywheel

the problem is if you are changing to zvh you will have to make a new bracket to mount the cps onto as the oil pump bolt holes on the zetec are different to those on the cvh.

the car is running a ZVH motor at present...

and the flywheel is badly worn and needs replacing, but i was told i should only fit a flywheel from a EFI CVH car...

but now i think i dont need to, as my crank sensor is not reading off the flywheel

i was looking at my zetec (ZVH) alternator pulley wheel the other day, and noticed it had thread pegs welded to it, 4 of them... that are kinda stuck out of the edge of the pulley wheel...

there could well be, i need to have a closer look

all i know is, i remember seeing the alternator pulley with strange lugs welded to it...

and after what you said, that made me think, it could be for the crank sensor

if the face is fooked cos of the paddle clutch you are most probally using either take it to a machine shop and get it skimmed in a lathe till the surface is as new but dont take too much off!

it is up to you i would pull the dowel pins out in a vice and just take it to my local engineering workshop who will put it in a 4 jaw chuck and clock it up and skim the face off for about £10 i have done it myself as i have acces to a lathe piece of pi$$ to do though!
