Default Rs turbo cutting out after couple of seconds,

Hi I’m new to this, I have a problem with my series 2 rs turbo, it starts but then stops after a couple of seconds, I havent done anything with it yet as only had it a week but i used to mess about with them years back, I’m pointing towards it being the metering unit, any one had the same problem? Hi sorry for late reply, I brought it like it it’s been stood since 2011, I have changed metering unit, fresh fuel, inlet mana fold with gasket all the sensors on inlet to, it runs for a couple of minutes but sounds rough like it’s running on 3, changed plugs, leads, only thing I forgot to check was the timing, as soon as you touch the revs it stops, and it will only start if push the flap down a tiny bit

Your first issue is you changed everything not sure why ?, basicly ypu need to calibrate your metering unit to your car. Whats happaning the cold enrichment is giving a rich cold mix but when it drops the fuel pressure as the engine warns its going lean so turn your c0 screw a bit to the right. Ideal when warm with a C0 machine aim for 2 to 3.5

Check your resistance on the yellow coolant sensor
