Default T3 turbo

Hello all,

I recently purchased a t3 turbo from eBay. Sold as escort FitMent. It’s brand new genuine garrett but is a tb03. It fits the manifold but the downpipe fitment is completely different.

Any turbo brained people know what this fits or if I can still use it on my fiesta rs turbo engine? Any help greatly appreciated

I always thought the Garret Tb03 was a Saab Turbo item..totally different rear housing to the T3

Iff you still have the original 0.36 back housing or 48 off your original turbo it should bolt on to the back of that turbo (replace the saab back housing ) . Then your down pipe elbow should bolt straight up to it. But what would i know im full of it 😂

So the new turbo has wider blades so won’t fit into the old housing

My old xr3i turbo had a saab turbo on it many yrs ago , and i think it had a 48 deg cossie 2 wd back housing on it . Your best doing away with the restrictive rs turbo elbow anyway , make it a 2 stud cossie back housing then make a down pipe to suite

Thankyou,I might have to look into that option then. I didn’t realise the elbow was restrictive so that’s handy to know. Thankyou
