After changing my alternator on my 2wd sapphire and would like a 90 amp but where do I get it from ?

I see Burton show one but it says no longer available and don't want to replace with the unheard of £50 items on eBay as good or not I not sure I would trust one that's half the price of what I would expect one to cost.

 

 

Took it off yesterday to clean it up and add the updated alternator to battery cable and it's full of black oily dust inside it plus the 8mm nut with the cable for the battery light turns the thread in the housing and will not undo so thought as I've just fitted new loom and management plus updated all other battery and earth cables I would replace it.

 

get it reconditioned

 

That's what I'm doing now as couldn't find anyone selling a new one.

 

I had to do the same in the end with my 4wd one

 

im pretty sure there are other alternators that fit just cant remember which ones

 

James at auto dynamics does s uprated one

 

prety sure an old audi 80 model fits and it has a cap on the back to protect it from heat

just buy a transit connect starter - cheaper, smaller and more powerful
