Search for lea123 on turbosport. He built a complete axle for someone I know wasn't cheap tho.

Or search for a 2.8 Capri axle or 3.0 which is an atlas. Then you can modify that to suit. ie cut down the axle tubes fit shorter shafts and diff etc.

Most parts can be bought new from Burton power.

As said a descent atlas is the preferred axle for that power,if your using road tyres will probably never break if built correctly

as others have said atlas all the way and definitely a 48.52 casing (baby) for a unarched mk2
i currently have a narrow 50" on mine with tarmac arches and 9j wheels
definitely go either zf motorsport lsd or a 3j nxg at the very least
cwp ratio id go with a 3.44 for a 400hp car.
all the advice others have given above is bang on the money
and definetly go 2 piece shafts 18t squires shafts in mine and took a beating definitely go to R.A.C.E (rally and competition equipment) stoke on trent for your gear.
some info for you here

Squires axles are up there with the very best. I run mk1 unarched on english axle still. Uprated halfshafts,3.54 steel lsd. T34 on greens and has been for 3 yrs now. Only running 7 x 13" wheels though with 175/50s
