Default Ford xr2i 1.6 h reg

Hi im new to forum
got meself a xr2i non runner been stored since 2003
So i know theres no spark at plugs
Ive got power to edis
the car turns over
the crankshaft sensor is brand new
only thing i can think of is an immobiliizer of some sort
but to be fair i havent worked on these engines since the 1990s.so av forgot a lot of things on them
any suggestions or advice will be appreciated

Default Just looked at me key

Just looked at key i got with car it doesnt have a chip in it .just a plain key
it unlocks everything
not sure wether they had chipped key
any ideas

Wink A long day

After 6 days of checking wiring changing ignition parts still no spark
av done every check
i now fink there must be an imobilizer of some sort
it has ignition lights
It turns over
but still no spark
any ideas or checks i can do that i havent tried ?

Any ideas please
ive read the post on edis but when i got to the enx it had no outcome
any help or ideas that i can use would be much appreiated

I have power to the middle pin on the edis when the ignition on but am sure according to the diagram that pin 8 of the edis module should be 12v aswel but its showing an earth
any ideas

New year same problem
got meself a haynes manual
done some resistance checks i missed out because didnt know about them
haynes manual pretty good but after checking everythink am still with no spark
any help at all guys would be really helpful

Was a couple of things
2 wires broke
Fuel injection relay fault which runs a lot of stuff on the car
