Holle folks,

My air gun at work is going down hill now and it's time to look at getting a new one but I don't know what the current models and prices are. I don't want to get one from Snapon or Mac as they are only going IR guns rebadged or some thing but at twice the price. My budget is about £250 if anyone has any advice.

I've a mac apw050 1/2 inch it's really powerful loads of breakaway torque. Don't think it's a I/r one

 

I have an ingersol rand qti titanium and it's an awesome bit of kit really really light and 1200 torque, cost about £250. I've also just bought the stubby 4.4inch mac gun 1/2 drive for £150 and it's mega mate, can't believe the power for 4.4 inches long lol!

 

I've googled qti titanium, there seems to be loads of them is this the one by any chance ?

Hi mate. I have the 2135qti, the best one they ever did, my boss also has the same gun they are awesome. Had a look on their website and seems to have been discontinued unfortunately. But I'll ask my cornwell tools man when he pops round as I know he can still get them from somewhere and all the parts are still available. Have a look at the new mac range mate as they are proper powerful, we at work and some mates of mine in the trade have gone onto the new mac stuff, 1280 to 1800 torque on their cheapest and best 1/2 normal size air gun at the Moment for £250

 

This is the 4.4 mac 1/2 gun I just bought. Mega little thing. It's twists your hand when u rev the trigger!!

I got the top mac gun before xmas, 1700nm supposedly. It's a nice thing £300+ vat on offer.

 

Cheers for the heads up but I only want to spend about £250 plus, looking into it a little more and I have realised we have only got an 8mm airline so I could get the best gun out there, I would be just wasting my money

Ah yeah we got 10mm airlines at work. Buy a 10mm airline just for yourself matey?

Ah that's annoying mate! To be honest it's a handy little gun for getting into tight spaces but if size and weight isn't a massive issue then I'd defo go for a more powerfull gun for everyday use. The little mac gun I use now for tight spaces only really
