Does any one know of any place I could buy a complete set of abs sensors for a 3 door Cosworth.
Preferably without selling a kidney or two

Hi Darren,

This site http://d2pautoparts.com/ is always recommended by my mechanic and i often get a good deal for it. Check out the ABS sensors or give them a call because i know they have more items than whats on the site.

Shit loads I'd say I just paid 40 for a second hand one. New are 140

 

I cut some 4x4 ones out of my loom before I realised they had a value, I may have some with plugs though, are they the same

 

Theres a few front ones on ebay at the mo. There about 50 quid each.

 

glad i dont run ABS in my cars then - sod paying that much. Luckily i still have a few spare sensors in my garage somewhere

 

I recently bought 2 front ABS sensors for my 4x4, 1 from France (Mister-auto)
and one off E-bay. But I suspect they where the last ones:
ATE 24.0711-1139.1
Work like a charm and made by the company that made the ABS system (Teves)
so OE quality. Looked exactly the same but without Ford logo.
Don't know if they fit your 3dr though.

 

The sensors are the same as lesser models (or Granada's), but yes pricey to buy new.
