Just done a clutch change on my 07 mk6 fiesta Zetec s.
Bled the clutch went for a drive and hardly any clutch pedal pressure and almost no brake pressure. Very hard to get into 1st and reverse and crunches to get in those gears.
I know its got to be air in the brake system but ive bled the clutch more than enough just don't know how the clutch side of things isnt working as it should.

Tomorrow I'll fully bleed the brakes and clutch and hopefully this will sort it.

Anybody got any advice

Done a few of these mk6 clutches not had this problem before its annoying because it's actually on my own car! 😭

 

Did you change the slave cylinder as well mate?

Always go with the LUK kit

 

Bled the system completely no air in brakes but there working as they were so fine now, clutch still the same hardly any pedal pressure.
Really have to push hard to get it in 1st or reverse still, reverse still crunches. not sure if cables are snagging on something.
Some white gunk came out as I bled the clutch now I'm worried and pi$$ed off if ive been given a faulty slave cylinder

 

I'm wondering if the slave is maybe faulty mate especially if you have bled it a few times.

 

box off again changed slave bled system again still no good!
Noticed one of the gear cables was wiggling around so ive cable tied into place and it now goes into gear when running but still crunches into reverse.

I am going to change the cable, but I don't understand why it's still crunching into reverse would the cables cause this?
