Default 1st Central Insurance, anyone used them?

Hello,

So the best quote I've got for my RS3 is with this company.

Has anyone used them at all? I never heard of them and wanted to know if they are any good.

If all the paperwork checks out i can't see a problem but i know some companies don't like paying out for ANYTHING.

Cheers.

I was insured with them for a year but never had to make a claim so cant really say if they were any good or not. They've been around for years I think.

Dan i did try, in fact you was the first place i called and got told Ł3000! Believe this was with a tracker and saying I'm on here and audi-sport too . The quote I've got with these guys is just over Ł700 thats without a tracker.

Didn't know these have been around for awhile.

I've used them a couple in the past due to price, never made a claim though.

I only left them as they put a Ł500 increase on my insurance premium when I changed vehicle from a celcia gt, to an older rover 600 diesel.they Came up with a few bullshit excuses as they thought I'd just pay up. After I told them just to cancel and I'd take my business else where they managed to drop Ł200. I still left, I probably wouldn't use them again unless I knew I was going to keep the car and not change mid policy.

One company I can recommend which usually comes up cheap on the comparison sites is qoute me happy. Had to make an own fault claim once while with them and they couldn't of made it easier. Our yearly premium continued to go down each year as well which I was suprised at.

Used them a number of years ago. Thought they were good. Cheap quote and don't renew automatically which was a bonus. Im with swift now as they quoted me cheaper.

Infact I find with my RS cars the usual companies are bloody good. N2I was more than them, with limited miles and the others like AF was a damn sight more.

I must say this year I switched from need2insure who I had been with for many years to adrian flux as they quoted me Ł152 less , and it was even with same insurance underwriter need2insure tried to renew me with , as for 1st central my son was with them but he had to make a claim after his vehicle was hit while parked and they made life very hard for him indeed so he would never go back to them now

You will know how good they are if when you ring and get through to some fucker you can't understand Imo, speaks volumes for a company no matter how cheap they are.

I just called it was a little hard to understand Think she was Scottish so its not that bad lol. Done the deal at Ł720 also a month its Ł3 more to insure for a 365bhp RS3 than a 170bhp A4 diesel lol.

Im very happy with the result since Ive only got 1 years no claim.

Used them and my son got wiped out going to work in a Fiesta we both used.
Accident was at 8:00am by 15:00 a hire car with a full tank was delivered.

Couldn't fault them at all, they sorted everything for him including his Physio
