Dear fordfriends!

I have recently bought a steering wheel for my Ford Taunus TC3 (Cortina MK5 in your eyes ).

The steering boss didn't fit, so i bought another one of eBay. Should fit all fords. But, you've guessed it, not mine...

It seems my little ford has an other size steering shaft than 'normal' fords.

The boss i bought of eBay has 36 splines and a shaft of 16mm. I need a boss with 40 splines and a 18mm shaft.

Does anyone know where I kan buy this boss, or with other cars use the same steering shaft?

Maybe try the likes of Burton ?

 

As above also i think that the mk2 escort one fits. Will look at the weekend at mine and post a pic and a part number up.
