Default My Cossie and the sensible car

Never put a proper thread up for the Cossie yet and took a few photos of the family car today after I gave it a clean up so here we are.

Start of with the toy,ex BBR owned car,Ken Brittain supposedly owned this one personally and it's got quite low miles,31000 on her now. It's in getting the head rebuilt just now,was a bit smokey on overrun due to the old stem seals going solid when it was in storage for a few years.
I've fitted a new Mongoose exhaust, mudflaps and a set of 18" comps since taking ownership, new headlight wiper motors should be on their way just now so that's the next thing to do when it comes home. Running somewhere in the region of 330 to 350bhp,need to get it on the rollers and set up properly in the near future.

Now the family car,I had an Impreza sti and a Mondeo STtdci when I bought the Sierra so something had to go,it was the Mondeo first then the Impreza was traded in for this.

2.2 titanium x sport,it's the 200 bhp model so no slouch either, quite a nice place to be actually due to having all the options ticked when it was bought new.

I'll update as the Sapphire comes round to how I want it,the Mondeo will be staying as it is other than maybe a wee bit of mapping to get a bit more go.

Cossie comes first though

I actually said to the wife it's a good job the Cossie isn't standard or the Mondeo would probably be quicker.

It's a very different car to the older model diesel, have to rev this one a bit more to get it going properly I find it more like a petrol car.

Can't wait to get the old thing back though and get some proper fun on the go

Ebay ad while looking for a mk1 Focus RS.

I'd given up on trying to find a reasonable priced Sapphire and once again started looking at other cars then this one popped up
