Help I cannot open rear drivers side door I have managed to remove door card with a bit of damage unfortunately but still cannot release lock had it motd but failed on locked door I need to get door open to get lock out but how anyone know

 

Have you tried with engine running? Had the same a few years ago on an old mondeo, when the engine was running the voltage was slightly higher and must have gave it that extra kick to get it working

 

remove the door card from the other rear door and see what could be causing the problem

you can get the wiring looked at as well but i suspect it will have failed either on the dead lock locked position or the little cable end has snapped off and so has stopped the door from opening that way

 

The wiring is OK checked the lock and unlock pulse wires both OK lock button is still attached OK to rod and lock,it has been playing up for awhile now when it locks it sometimes will not unlock for a couple of days sometimes I can unlock it manually sometimes not but now it will not shift so how do I get the damn door open to get the lock out.
