Very smart, moondust sapphires are my favourite, there is a standard K plate one not to from my home that's also moondust that I have my eye on.

Has it got the colour coded boot spoiler lip? If so its one of the last ones off the production line.

Have a look on this site or sign up matey.

No mate it hasn't it's all.silver,I was told it was months away from getting the likes of air con and the likes of the spoiler and that but I'm unsure of that,it's not a bad colour people say it's the executive version of the cosworths in this colour lol

5-6-1992 that sapphire was built with an August reg date

The sapphire I'm after is a 28-9-1992 build and has no aircon and has rainbow recaros.

He bought it to store away and keep it for years, this is the most reliable cosworth I have ever owned.i owned it for just over a year when I had it I did 7000 trouble free motoring and I have further done another 200 mile since getting it back and again never ever misses a beat,so in that case people who store there cars away they must be un reliable to as well then I take it

Looks really fresh, good colour choice too!

Personally I'd get the standard bumper lip back on and paint the foglight surrounds back to the original colour so it's 100% standard again, looks too good a car to be modded in any way.

They should be metallic grey I'm sure, a colour similar to moonstone blue but lighter. Mine were painted silver by the body shop when they did my car and it really annoys me lol.

Don't think I've ever seen a steering wheel like that on a cossie, nasty aren't they! Is that original for the late car then? I assumed they'd be the same as the 90 spec 4wd one's. You'd have thought it'd at least be leather.

I only ever had a couple of saph cossies, an 89 2wd with a 3 spoke wheel which I really liked and then I had a 90 spec 4wd and the wheel was still 3 spoke but a chunkier centre which I disliked compared to the earlier car.

I'd always thought they'd be like this..

Guess Ford must have been cost cutting on the last of them.

I'd have that swapped straight out for a leather one. Keep hold of it no doubt, but looking at that in my cosworth would make me feel a bit uncle dick. I'd feel like I was behind the wheel of a GL.

I always hated it when they swapped to the MT75 box and ditched the rubber gear gaitor and changed the gear knob. It all felt so wrong in hand, hated the look of it too, looks all goofy and top heavy, aside from the gearbox feel compared to the T5.
