wifey is after a new car.
what things should I look for when viewing a mk1 focus, shall be looking late ones 04/54 reg.
any advise welcomed.

 

Pretty much bullet proof from what I know/heard. Very good car the mk1!

im a little confused now, do these cars have the tdci or the earlier tddi?

 

later ones were tdci but there were a few late registered tddi's I believe

 

gave up in the end!
looked at a few all had issues.
I am ashamed to say we went back to French. tbh i'v owned few and had no real problems with them.
So I bought a 1 owner from new FSH 83k 04 reg xsara Picasso 1.6 hdi.so at least the later focus tdci use same powerplant lol. Its a big old bus but we have a new kid on the way,so will be usefull.
