As title been offered a 2.0 zetec attached to a t reg focus salon in metallic green, one owner from new, ghia spec. but pretty rough bodywork, all electric windows and air con etc,
It's will run but the fuel pump needs a knock to get going, no tax or mot either, as I said one elderly ex ford workers car from new
What would you pay, I've been offered it at £175.00
I suppose that's close to scrap value?

 

You'd probably get that for the engine and box alone. If you have a use for the engine then go for it.

 

The engine alone is worth about 150 and you could probably get a similar price for the shell in scrap metal, and that's without getting the odd fiver here and tenner there in bits (what you cant get rid of, just scrap). Go for it!

 

That's what I'm thinking to be honest I've just brought home my mk 4 escort cab, so may use the engine in that as the turbo it had I've used in my mk 2 escort, then it has all working air con etc fitted and the full ghia trim

Sounds good if you need bits off it, it won't make you rich though!
