Doubt it....it's an easy one to change as well, I'm sure its the same size as the front diff output on a 4wd.

4 bolts pull the prop off and pop the seal out

yep ,all done
its not the seal, take the flange off, smear a load of gasket sealer(i used threebond),onto the splines.slide it back on making sure you see the sealer squige out around where the nut goes on,replace nut,re tighten, job done .

I no it's not the pinion seal
I've removed the nut already before and put a load of sealer around it which cured it for a while....
But I done it again last week and it lasted a week!!
Did u take the flange of and seal it?It has that washer under the 24mm nut which I couldn't get out??
I used loctite 5900 which is normally shit hot stuff

Thing is its a fully recon gripper diff which has done appx 600 mile at Ł1200!!!

Cheers

Bit of an odd one you would not think it would go up the splines

id take the diff back
try using a semi-hardening sealer,if it goes hard,it'l just crack and leak again

i took the flange off, made sure it was dry and clean, smear some under the washer too

Yea your right should of sent it back!!

Think my mistake is that I never took the flange out/off
So I'll have another go this week and see how I get on
