Default Focus rs Cams

Evening all.

Can someone confirm for me that a mk1 focus RS uses different cams to the 2.0 zetec blacktop?

Many thanks.

Matt

I'm lead to believe they are the same. Use a 1.8 inlet cam for a better response

Well I've now been assured that the 1.8 and 2.0 cams are the same. I've read that the focus rs boys use a 1.8 can for better response..... Means the frs cams must be different?

Having had a focus RS which was fitted with a 1.8 inlet cam, I can tell you the engine and car were completely different after fitting. So from that I can only presume that the 1.8 and 2.0 are different.

Ok cool. Next question, does anyone know the ident code for the frs cams.... They use ident rings for part numbers so its something like 01010 (standard 2.0 cam) .. OR anyone have a pic of FRS cams?

Thanks
