I ordered the adaption bars that allow a 'straight fit' with a cobra bucket seat into a mk3/4 escort. What i want to know is when i buy the seats do they come with their own subframes or do I need to source standard mk3/4 escort subframes to fit them with the adaption bars ? Any help would be great

They might sit too high, though, depending on how tall you are and your rollcage etc.
I know with mine, I have side mounts, but I'm still struggling to get a comfortable seating position because of the floorpan crossmember and the rollcage.

I just bought the monaco pro's instead they are side and bottom mount so if the bottom mount doesn't sit great i'll get the side mounts

I have tried every possible way to fit the original runners to these seats with the adaption bars and for some reason it's being a nightmare... anyone know off hand what holes you use ? It seems whatever holes I line up on the subframe front or back then the opposite end is out. Am i better off just trying side mounts or i can buy a complete cobra subframe which is a direct fit into the car ?

I take it they don't go this way round ?
