Focus estate/van conversion
Hi, I am new to this forum. Like what i see so far. I have always owned fords. S1 rs turbo, escort vans, mondeo ST24. V6 cougar etc etc.
I like the idea of a focus van, a bit like the astra van. I know they make a van and sell it in Ireland. Thats a hatch, car derived van. So i decided that I will make one.
But..... In the old days i had a escort rs turbo van, i miss it (a bit).
So decided to buy a rear ended salvage focus rs.
I bought a 59 plate focus estate facelift model.
The van will have rear door welded up and a large panel fitted. Once the van conversion has been completed, it will go through a rs conversion.
A focus rs van, not to everyone's taste. Yet it is mine, so thats all that matters

Like the idea!! Look forward to pics.
Thinking out of the box here, turn it into a 3dr? Move the b post back and use the door skin on the outside and the remaining on the inside making sure it's solid.

Yes thought if that before and photo shopped it. It doesn't look right. Cuts into the space in the back. The d escort vans had a small door. I used the interior door cards from an Orion ghia, as rs turbo too big.
