Focus 1.8 zetec TPS
Hi all,
Could anyone advise if it's ok to keep the TPS unplugged on my wife's 1999 focus 1.8 zetec, I have ordered a new one which will be a few days but the car runs faultless with the TPS unplugged, with it plugged in it revs between gear changes and the revs hold when stopping and only drop to 750rpm when fully stopped. Also if you take it out of gear and coast the revs go up to about 4000rpm again all of this doesn't happen with the TPS unplugged.
