Default First MIG welder advice please

Hi everyone, im hoping to buy a MIG welder and was after some advice, dont really want to spend more than £200ish

What would people recomend?

Just some small bits m8, but i cant get anyone i to come out so i figured id give it a go myself, plus ive always wanted to learn welding.

Clarke ones are ok but you need a bigger budget for a better unit

i was the same mate, my van fail mot as there was a golf ball sized hole in it. borrowed a clark mig welder and got some steel few hours practice and had a go. enjoyed doing, buy one of them solar powered masks.

If you afford to spend a little more now it will pay, as you get all the adjustable settings then. I've got a saf semi professional .

thermal arc invertor welder 181i , does mig , stick , and tig (not alloy) so a great 3 in 1 unit for around £650
