Maximum BHP on S2 ERST
On what engine mate?
1600CVH, 1900CVH, 2.1ZVH, 2.0ZT, 2.1ZT..........
If you mean what I think, then I think Christian & Beccys S2 is the most powerful on a 1600CVH which is about 300bhp
It tips 161mph too!

Alot mate, alot!
There's a full feature on their car in Performance Ford within the last 2 months magazines, that gives a full spec of the car
From memory tho, I think it run a GT28 Turbo, Screamer Pipe and obviously alot of other goodies!
What route are you planning then mate, your S2 is a 1600 at the mo isnt it? HTH

If you want to stick to a 1600cvh then either PM him on here or speak to a company called APT, I think its where Christian works and they also advertise on here so shouldnt be too hard to find!

I think he probably struggled with traction with reference to the 1/4 and 0-60 times mate, I'm not sure on the exact power output of the car, but it is the fastest 1600cvh engine'd RS Turbo top speed wise, 161.1mph at Brunters!
You'd have to speak to APT or Christian himself but this IMO is one of the best around, not a bad car to aim for i'm sure you'll agree
Who is SVM 286 aswell mate

Its quite an unheard about car as i believe Jim who owns it is quite modest about it and doesnt really bring it out much. Although when it does come out it gets a lot of inteest.
This is my fave S2 on the basis its still the original 1600 block with super rare pistons (race spec i believe maintaining original capacity} full steel bottom end and is running standard management @ 286 BHP. Also you go to think that this was built nearly 10 years ago, has never detonated and still kicks ass today
This is the only S2 i would consider over getting an S1
Has it been rebuilt since its original build then mate? Its probably so strong due to the capacity not being increased!
Looks bloody hard actually, almost abit 'sleeper'!
JIM RS, whereabouts are you in Southampton mate, and near the West Quay and Ocean Village etc, am up quite regular!

The engine is a 1600CVH 8 Valve with a GT Series Roller Bearing Turbo (28psi Boost). Its on Omex 700 Series Management.
The engine is currently in pieces. I am waiting for some pistons from the US. I plan to start a thread in the Rebuilds section when there is something new to see. But there is a few changes planned.
As for the Sprint times, the car is geared for Top Speed. The 161.1mph record that was set at Brunters was at a time when the car had a nasty missfire at 5800rpm. I had to change gear at 5800, then drive through it in 5th, so once its sorted I know its gonna go faster. I have always been shite at 1/4 Mile and 0-60.

Certainly pulls really well, Id definatly agree with you as to there being more power/speed to come and with revised spec am sure 170mph from a 1600 is only a matter of months away
Best of luck M8, hope its back on the road soon
I have loads of great pics of the car courtesy of Performance Ford. I think I may start my rebuild thread off with a selection of these pics. I just have to resize them first as they are around 10meg each!!!

Perhaps one day I can get a spin in yours.
whicked setups
we got a 2000cc spi cvh here @ 9.7:1 na cr running 20psi on a custom log t3 manifold, stock internals, and megasquirt ultra spark and fuel timing. (his car doesnt look it from the outside much, but that just appeals moreover to the sleeper look
)

2000cc spi cvh's are whicked, you guys should think about importing them over the 1.9's

well i can get them low milage for 250-350 us dollars, that's not including the import to you fee, i dont know how much it would be on a full low end (block, crankshaft, pistons, tie rods, etc) 170lbs or so I'd say on weight
very easy to get, have about 20 easily accessible here in this very town/city
it might be more reasonable to ship over the head/intake manifold/imrc/tb assembly and you guys just use a 2.0zetec bottom end, since it's just about the same.. you can boost the spi much more with much less trouble than the dohc zetec
i can get them with both return line style fuel rail (mechanical, vacuum controlled fpr) found only on 97 or returnless style fuel rail setup, 98-02
i dont know what you guys use over there but the return style is what we use, much easier to work with as well
