what stuff do i need to run coilpacks on my cossie...
i have a L8 computer....
and what are the costs of this stuff...
and where can i order it....

ive got a few zetec coil packs goin cheap mate.

 

you need to chat too msd i think as they are the dealer for the coil pack drivers on cossies

you need,, a driver unit,, small sub loom wiring,, another ignition amp,,, a coil pack, leads (or change your ends) thats it i think

 

oh yeah, i got a set or 2 of leads too

yes mike but he promised him 4 last time i was at stu's for him to test that was a month plus ago said they would be there for weekend

I have invested over Ł400 of my own money on this coilpack board project not including
all the time I have spent developing the software and hardware testing.
Aswell as doing other work and having a family life, I do as much as I am able to within
the time and resources available to me.

Mike Rainbirds comment is valid so why carry on....

Stu has ONE to try for himself and once he is 100% happy, I will send more.

At this point in time, this has nothing to do with you so why continue to have a go at me.

It is a shame now that after all the recent troubles, people are afraid to actually
post good things about me on here and I suppose I do not blame them.
At least 3 people I know on here have or have had coilpack drivers on their
cars fitted by me. (The older type like you had)

If I can design a whole ecu that runs a coil pack the I am sure a lesser technical
detailed device is not out of range of my capabilities.

As for your issues, You fitted it yourself and as I did NOT see the installation
myself I could not comment on the EXACT problems you had.
All I can say was it was tested before it left, and it returned not working
with the warranty seal broken.
We never really had a chance to resolve it in the end as things got a bit heated.

i was seeking advice off someone re dizzyless ign for my car at the weekend, he said he had been waiting for his ecu converting for over a year

puts me off a little (as does my own "let downs") BUT its something i really want on the car

Its good how you didnt mention me in that post so heres a for you !

Things are moving on now at last in this area as you will see shortly.

Whoever you spoke to, is bending the truth a bit as the coil pack conversions have only been publically
for sale since september last year and before then only fitted to a few of my friends cars !!

 

simon, wasnt a dig by any means, would be pretty stupid of me to do that and then ask you to do some work for me so quit the poking LOL

exactly that's the way i'll be doing it. S8 ECU, EECIV phase sensor and coils on plug.
