Default Replacing distributer on S2.

Im about to replace the faulty distributer on my S2 with a new one,what do i need to do?
Set TDC ect...?Im worried i screw up the timing real bad....

Any advice lad's?

Take off the dizzy cap, theres a mark on the side of the dizzy body (like a nik) line the rotor arm up with that, take off the old dizzy by undoing the 2 10mm bolts & reverse the process with the new one.

Hang on,is that after i set it to TDC?

Or is that all i have to do?

You dont have to set it at nothing Stoo. Just mark the head where the groove is on the dizzy flange. Line up new groove with mark. Simple

Your dizzy position may have been altered when your car was setup. Best thing is to make a mark on the head where the arrow is pointing on the old dizzy and then line up the arrow on the new dizzy to your mark.
