Default smoke on overrun?

after a run out yesterday i noticed im getting alot of smoke on overrun, it smells oily and is a bluey colour, engines 2.0 zetec turbo having only covered 800 miles since full rebuild. turbo is a t28 but is second hand so could it be the turbo or am i looking at something a bit deeper. the turbo isnt watercooled so i know they can give bluey smoke when seals are failing but i am literally leaving a fog on overun. it doesnt smoke at all on start up or when driving just when engines on overrun

sounds similar to problems i had in my cossie bmw. it was the turbo shaft rear seals and even though i got the turbo rebuilt/reconditioned once and then again under warranty it still smoked a bit on over run. it only cured it totally when i bought a new turbo which wasnt that much more expensive than getting the t34 reconned in the first place iirc.
