xr2 shell, some closures etc.
back with this one again,
due to not having time or any enthusiasm to continue taking parts off this it's up for sale as it is.
remaining on the shell:
passenger+drivers doors with electric motor fitted for windows and door locking solenoid
tailgate in good condition with tinted glass and also a spare clear glass.
xr2 kit, mostly in very good condition (painted in bumper/plastics paint last year) except where it has been modified on the front valance for intercooler.
clutch pedal has been modified for hydraulic clutch master cylinder from a frs
mount been welded to innerwing to allow direct fitment of an mtx box on slightly modified mount.
front crossmember has been cut and strengthened for t3 turbo downpipe clearance, been there many years now.
fuel tank is in good order with enlarged fuel return to reduce external swirl pot system pressurising (pipework in place for this still).
dash is mostly in place, but loom modified for mk3 escort clocks.
axle in good condition, poly bushed trailing arms, stud conversion, very good condition drums and shoes along with very good condition genuine ford handbrake cable replaced a few years back and little use.
there is a carpet in the shell, but not the best along with roof lining.
motors are there for wipers and mechanisms work fine.
meta system alarm installed and works as it should
ARB is in place, mounted with poly bushes.
it still has the throttle cable for efi inlets (zetec+cvh) only been on a couple of years brand new from ford.
wings in good order and front panel replaced a few years back, but cut about for front mount intercooler.
the shell passed it's last MOT without issue, however would need a lot of work to build into a car again, good base for spares/panels though.
price, well, it really is in the way now and would like to see it go to help another car or two get finished off.
this will not drive away, or roll easily.
