Hi really unsure on what engine to put in mk4 escort.
It's a 1.3 ohv at the mo. looked at 1.6 efi Rst engines but already have that in my mk3 so no point really.
I have a cvh LSD box to use
Looked at st170, rs2000, 1.6,1.8,2.0 blacktop engines but just can't decide.
Don't wanna spend loads onit tbh.
Then I was thinking put all my cvh efi turbo engine setup init and start doing a 2.0 zetec turbo in mk3 but I need help lol

Can't decide so all your ideas are welcome.

All depends what you wanna spend, a 1.8 zetec n/a could be ok, reasonable on the pockets, won't ever set the world on fire though.

I'm a bit biased, but a zt is a good shout working from karlos's guide, will cost a fair bit though.

What will I need for 2.0 blacktop, ill just run it as standard for now, this 1.3 ohv is crap and noisy and just crap to drive on a 4 speed box lol.
If I get an engine, loom and ecu that's all ill need right? And what sort of £££s is this going to cost me lol

 

On that link in a brand new crate engine with everything you need bar the ecu. 900 for a brand new 135bhp lump is cheap imo.

 

That's way too much lol esp when I can drop an rs2000 lump in 150bhp for £100-£150 lol . Basically mate I ain't got loads of money spare as run my own home, have a little one, an expensive mrs and run 3 cars lol.
Just want something better than what's in it and something that can be juiced up a bit in the future easy enough .
