Do you think the inner wing could be persuaded with a hammer for clearance of a mtx box ?

when i made my shafts i used focus rs shafts and mk2 xr2 shafts i cut all 4 shafts up and used the focus rs inner halfs and the xr2 outer. i measured the width of the 4 half's and had some sleeves made up (crazycage made them for me)

fitted all the bits and sat the car flat on the floor i moved the bits around untill i felt the inner and outer were sitting in the right place.

i then spot welded it stripped it all down welded it all up and refitted it all i then drove the car around on welded shafts for a week or so just to make sure all was good.

i then had the welded shafts copyed and made into one piece shafts

just to add tho the welded shafts took 1bar boost from a gt30 for ages. and the one piece shafts went on to snapping lol

Well was thinking with the car sitting on the floor with the shaft level i would think it would be at its shoties so the shaft should be sitting canny far in.

No problem mate I gest you would have. What's the problem with the cosworth clutch does cover fit? Ave got a helix 6 paddle drive plate and it fits the flywheel and splins in the box but I haven't got a cosworth cover and the standard mondeo one won't cover the paddle plate.
