Now then,

I recently sold my Audi as I knew I will mostly be using the trains and tube in the city for work. So i thought time to leave the diesel world and get back in to a petrol turbo car, (at long last!)

To replace it I bought a Focus RS mk1, Iv fallen in love with it. It has no mods and is such a great car. The cornering speeds and acceleration in stock really is impressive.

Anyway before I was to start my work at my new City client head office had an urgent requirement to go across the country to see other clients, little did I know Id be doing 1000 miles! I thought Oh shit, will the car be ok?

My travel was as follows:
Reading to Wrexham
Wrexham to Blackpool
Blackpool to Crewe
Crewe to Home

Home to Leeds and back

So here I am at head office in reading before I left for my first stop, Wrexham!




I went Via Swindon and joined the M5, where I stopped for a break, cant remember what service station but it had nice views





At this point I started falling for the car big time and thought this will be a good road trip

I didnt get any pics at Wrexham but the journey to the client site was awesome, plenty of quiet A roads where I was able to see how good the car handled

Finished up from crew and got to Blackpool for 6pm

here was my hotel,



nice views out to the ocean. At this point I was thinking will I get any time to go to MSD for a quick hello and some car advice.

The hotel car park was small and at first I had to park on the street, which I really hated the thought of.

After going for a stroll down the beach I came back to see an empty space so i moved the car straight away and took a pic of that achievement


I was meeting a work collegue in Blackpool and he came and got me from my hotel so we could go get some food and on the way we saw this

Next day I left Blackpool and headed down the M6 to Cranage Hotell as my next client was in Crewe

Next morning I woke up and went to check out, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by this!



Anyones off here? It was gorgeous, has FRS 18s on it and on a K plate

After crewe I went home, another pleasant drive.

I got a call on Thursday saying I was needed to be in Leeds, i thought fook and got all my stuff ready. This time I asked the mrs if she and my daughter wanted to come which they said yes too - doh!

Didnt get much pics in leeds but whilst I was at work the family did some shopping and the next day we visited and stayed round friends in Bradistan (Bradford)

So that was my week! Hadnt done that before and went to places I hadnt been before. The car never missed a beat and was at home doing 70mph on the mway as well as country roads to built up cities getting attention/thumbs up

I do 1200 miles every week for work and would love to do it in my 4i every night but alias I have to make do with the P*****t work van lol

Glenn is usually for network/system maintenance and upgrades and a catch up to see what's needed for the future.

Mo I had the fam with me this time. I went to new cross Gate while the family was in the trinity centre, I hate shopping

I may be coming up soon again maybe a in November or December so I will definitely let you know
