it costs a good whack to do a nice job, is your zetec a silvertop or blacktop? Whats the rest of your cars spec eg intercooler/turbo etc.

How much stuff can you do yourself, what figure's for budget and target bhp do you have?

Hi thanks for the reply much appreciated
I have a silver, double capacity intercooler, 3" scorpion exhaust and a t3 turbo
I am capable of doing all the work and would be happy with 200bhp as I don't have a lot of money and would slowly upgrade stuff at a later date once it is up and running

you will need to convert to efi and get a chip to suit a zetec from msd, and you will need a inlet too suit too

quick run down

drill out cvh efi flywheel to suit if you already have a paddle clutch set up otherwise use the zetec flywheel and get a clutch to suit.

then drill and tap the head to suit your exhaust manifold

get an adaptor plate for the inlet unless you use a zetec inlet instead

new front bottom hose to suit zetec water pump, rouse motorsport sell these

a very good front mount intercooler

use the 1.8 zetec sump and pick up so your downpipe fits

mod fuel lines in bay maybe

modify the engine mount to suit and fit uprated gearbox mounts to stop as much movement as possible

this lot should have it mounted in the car

and a good spec thats cheap to build a zetec too that is rated to 270bhp is
2.0 silver top bored out to 86mm
c20let pistons
standard rods modified for these to fit
arp rod bolts
devil developments valve springs
then new gaskets and cambelt kit and water pump, but get someone who knows what they are doing to put it together.

I ran a t3 at 10psi on ofab and it left a s3 for dead and a 1600cvh with stage 3 t3 and steel engine.

So punchy but to get the most from it get your turbo rebuilt to stage 3 and get the chip from msd or fit aftermarket management

I got a full gotech set up for the same price as a chip
