Default Cam just been fitted loud back fires

Piper285 cam just been fitted
Geezer adjusted the dizzy cap slightly forward past the notch!
1 full turn on bleed valve
Car now runs just up to 12psi but doesn't hold!
Straight away the tappet got stuck n it was tappen really loud! Then it unseized n sounds quiet now!
She pulls hard n lights up in 2nd under load!
Now as I come off the throttle n drop it down a gear for roundabout etc he bangs a few times really loud!!!
Is this normal?

Hi, of course its not normal mate, far from it!

So to summarise - this garage has:
  • Fitted a new performance camshaft
  • Advanced your ignition timing
  • Turned up your boost
But cant advise why it now runs terrible?
I assumed they fitted wideband fuel monitoring equipment and checked the AFR is safe after all that performance enhancement work?

Yeh if you have backed off the ignition and turned down the boost There's a lot less of a chance of detonation but do not go out thrashing it
