Default Fuel filter

Need a little help I have a 2008 ford focus 1.6 petrol facelift model and I cannot find fuel filter can anyone advise me on the whereabouts of this damn thing it's driving me mad

my mom's mk1 1.6 has it on the underside next to the fuel tank..... It is not easy to replace on a driveway...

They don't have a filter! I know I found it rather shocking to believe too.

That will be why I can't find it then. Why is there no filter that seems strange

Is it under the car on the drivers side in behind the rear wheel and in front of the fuel tank? I think you will see a bolt holding it in a clamp, its easier to remove the clamp from the car and then remove the filter from the clamp and swap them over

The pipes are a push in fitting u need to either squeeze or pull out the tab you should be able to work it you when you have it in front of you!

I've had a good look and can't seem to see it all I can see is a plastic cylinder type thing but its attached to the rear subframe right in the centre and it seems to have fuel lines attached to it
