Default Headaches when fixing cars

Don't it just piss you off, I've taken a week off work,,, now I'm waiting for odd bolts and inserts that has stopped play

Remote oil cooler housing I found a perfect location but double skinned so need stupid nut inserts,

lost a rocker cover bolt seal somehow that's after discovering the half moon seat was the reason for the leak all this time,,,, and it don't come with rocker cover gasket kit but that came on Wednesday,,, grrrr

Down pipe gasket is too small so need to find a larger one

Power flex wishbone bush cracked and the movement cause the bolt to bend so had to cut the fucking thing out,,,,, annoying as I bought a new wishbone a few months ago and ore fitted the bush so all o would have to do is just remove it rather than have unexpected arse ache,,, my car thought otherwise

I ordered the wrong fucking drill bit for my oil sump return for my breather,,, now that has arrived I have decided to aeroquip the lot in an12 as it looks better,,,, though that is just me lol

Worst part is I have to lift all 4 wheels to spin the prop to tighten 1 stupid bolt

And my garage is a mess again too which seems to make me work slower somehow

1 week later,,, car still not done lol

I also felt your pain a few weeks back trying to fit a 4x4 engine/box etc complete after dragging it singlehandedly across the front garden from the old car as it was seized in solid.

Then discovering most of the car underneath was different as it had been converted to 2wd hence needing to swap just about everything over as well!!!

Still I bought one of those electric impact drivers from Clarke halfway through the build which was awesome, just annoyed I didn't get it before I started!!!!

This is normal, even if you think you have everything ready, one of the new parts will break or you will uncover something that you could have never predicted!

This is after all a 20 plus year old car!

most of the time thinking of how much fun it is to drive gets me through!
